Studio Policies

Welcome to The Muse Studio. We strive to create a welcoming, professional environment where creativity flourishes and your time is valued. These policies ensure a smooth, respectful experience for everyone.

Booking & Payment

  • All sessions require a non-refundable retainer at the time of booking to reserve your date.
  • Remaining balances are due no later than 24 hours before your scheduled session.
  • If payment is not received by this deadline, your session will be canceled and made available to others.
  • Pricing and availability are subject to change without notice unless secured by a retainer.

Cancellations, Late Arrivals & Rescheduling

  • You may reschedule your session once with at least 72 hours’ notice.
  • A $45 late fee will apply if you arrive more than 15 minutes late. After 20 minutes, your session will be forfeited and must be rebooked.
  • Retainers are non-transferable and non-refundable, even in cases of cancellation or no-show.
  • Reschedules due to weather or emergencies will be handled with grace but must be communicated as early as possible.

Communication & Client Expectations

  • All communication should be directed to the studio via email, text, or Instagram DM during regular business hours (Mon–Fri, 9 AM – 5 PM).
  • Please allow 24–48 hours for a response, especially during peak shooting seasons.
  • Confirmation messages and prep guides will be sent the week of your session.
  • If you need to send inspo photos or outfit changes, please do so at least 48 hours before your session to ensure time for planning.
  • We do not guarantee responses outside of business hours unless otherwise prearranged for time-sensitive needs.

Session Guidelines

  • Clients are expected to arrive fully prepared and photo-ready, including hair and makeup unless booked through our in-house team.
  • Additional parties (friends, family, or partners) are not allowed in the studio unless they are also being photographed.
  • Children attending Muse & Co. sessions must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and must arrive dressed and ready to begin.

Galleries, Image Selection & Editing

  • Proof galleries are delivered within 7–14 business days.
  • Clients have 7 days from gallery delivery to select final images for editing. After 7 days, the gallery will be archived, and a $25 fee will be charged for reactivation.
  • Edited galleries are delivered within 7-14 business days of image selection.
  • Rush editing is available for a fee of 100$for 48-72 hours.
  • Galleries remain active for 3 months. A $50 reactivation fee applies after this window.
  • Final edits are done in the signature Whitney C style. Requests for extensive alterations (e.g. body morphing, major background changes) may incur an additional fee.

Copyright & Usage

  • All images are the intellectual property of Whitney C Editorials and may not be altered, filtered, cropped, or retouched by any third party.
  • Print release is included with the purchase of digital images.
  • Whitney C Editorials reserves the right to use any images for portfolio, social media, marketing, publications, and promotional use unless otherwise discussed in writing.
  • Unauthorized use or reproduction of images will result in legal action.

Refunds & Studio Rights

  • No refunds will be issued under any circumstances once a retainer is paid.
  • Re-shoots will only be offered due to technical failure or at the photographer’s discretion.
  • The studio reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions at any time due to emergencies, illness, or weather.

  • Respect the time, creativity, and process of Whitney C Editorials.
  • Communicate clearly and within business hours.
  • Arrive on time and fully prepared.
  • Uphold all studio policies as stated above.
